On March 5 plaintiff was fired bodily out of the place by his par ners because he wanted to have a settlement and since then he has been kept out. He claims that they are about to move to the Klondike and fears that they will keep all the money and dispose of the property without giving him anything.
1898-06-21 Settled out of court.

Dol is written up in The Culinarians: Lives and Careers from the First Age of American Fine Dining (p. 529)
He was brought to Los Angeles circa 1877 by his uncle-in-law to take over the Commercial Restaurant.
He progressed and he and his wife bought real estate and started other enterprises.

By 1889, Dol had moved to a building across from the all-powerful Los Angeles Times. Renamed the Maison Dorée, the restaurant was advertised as "L.A.'s Delmonico," an homage to the famous New York City restaurant.

Note: Three Martin Kristovichs in 1910 (at least if this is correct, 3 residential addresses. Two for sure in restaurant trade), but other years show that only one was co-proprietor. But this is the only year two in restaurants. Teamster was around for other years.
